Knotting fee$50.00 Any one of our malas can be made with knots after each bead. The fee for this service is $50. Just order any one of our existing malas, and purchase a knotting fee as an add-on. Additional $10 fee for removing knots from Hindu Mala, additional $50 fee for knotting an existing mala. Please note, we at Sakura Designs do not recommend knotted malas, since we have to use Nylon Cord which, after some time does have a tendency to stretch and fray, but does keep each bead from being lost when the mala breaks. Knotted Malas are most traditional when creating Hindu Japa Malas.
Our designers always would rather string our malas on state -of-the art Soft Flex™, with a tassel, without knots in-between each bead, such that the beads will slide slightly when counting as is traditional with Buddhist Malas, but we will gladly offer knotting service by request.
