New Jade Mala

New Jade (Serpentine) is light green, and has been treasured for centuries in the Far East. Jade refers to many different stones, for example, the most costly being Burmese Jadeite, Peking Jade, African Jade or Serpentine. New Jade is the trade name for it's true mineral name, Serpentine Jade. Different phosphorous minerals are used to form Serpentine beads, and the coloration of these beads is similar to that of a snake, thus, the name "serpentine."

All malas are made to order, and can choose your own tassel color and color of marker beads if you like. This one looks great with lapis, carnelian or crystal spacers. We can also make this simply with 108 Jade beads and matching "guru" bead if you prefer. Complimentary Silk Mala Bag included!
