Our lotus seed malas are 108 beads, plus markers, three holed guru bead and tassel. Made from real, quality lotus seeds 9-10mm(+-), slightly off-white as shown. The lotus flower has great significance in Tibetan Buddhism. Many deities are depicted seated upon lotus flowers, or in some cases such as Padmasambhava (The Lotus Born), having arisen from Lotus Flowers. The lotus has a special quality of being so pristine and beautiful, and having prominently arisen from the murkiness of a swamp.
