Hindu Japa malas are usually worn around the neck when not in use. Rudraksha are used to recite mantras, holding the mala with the right hand. Hindu Style malas are usually made from Sandalwood, Seeds or Rudraksha beads.

Our Rudraksha Malas natural seeds from an Indian or Indonesian Himalayan Rudraksha Tree. These are usually used for wrathful practices as Shiva and Rudra is associated with the third cycle of destruction, the circle of birth, sustaining and ending, and is particularly potent in times of war.

The beads are approx. 8-9mm. The beads are called "Rawa" and are slightly rough to the touch with 5-6 subtle, undefined facets or Mukhi. This mala is strung with 108 counting beads, tigers eye markers, offset with brass and guru bead.
