Malas-View All Buddhist Mala and Prayer Beads
Sakura Designs- the best site for a carefully crafted Mala! All non-imported Malas can be hand made to order if you prefer an alternate design, or we can send one just as shown. We use the sturdiest "Soft Flex" bead cable, a 49 strand durable bead cable, for most designs. The beads will easily slide when counting, as is the traditional method for Buddhist Malas.
Your prayer beads are properly made with a real three holed "guru or mother bead" with well crafted 100% cotton tassel. Beadknot ends, (German Nylon Beadcord) are also an option, but will not last as long as malas with tassels. All, non-imported, full malas, make by Sakura Designs, are offered a complimentary silk pouch, a $6.00 value. Made in the USA, unless otherwise noted.
*Most Malas are made to order, and as with all natural stones and monitor variations, actual colors may vary slightly from web images. Customers can specify the color and placement of the three "marker beads" used to divide Mala and tassel color. We will do our best to accommodate custom requests with materials available. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and considered a "work of art." Malas will be sent as close to the web image as possible depending on available materials, if no custom requests are required. Complimentary Mala bag is offered in assorted colors, and we make the best effort to choose a harmonious color and style. If you'd like you Mala redesigned or if your mala breaks after our warranty period, we offer restringing service for $18.
