Bodhi is the Sanskrit word for “awakened.” Bodhi Seed is the traditional Tibetan Buddhist Mala, with beads that become more beautiful with age and use. Perfect for prostration (bowing) practice. Bodhi Seeds absorb the oils from your skin and from the environment to become a shining dark, almost petrified bead.
About Jade Mala:
There are two varieties of Jade: Jadeite, a sodium aluminum silicate; and Nephrite, a calcium magnesium iron silicate. Green is the color most associated with Jade, but Jadeite comes in a variety of colors including red, orange, yellow, green, blue, lilac, pink, black, white, and brown; and Nephrite ranges in color from mid to dark green or grey-green, white, yellowish or reddish. Jade can be found in Japan, Myanmar (formerly Burma), Guatemala, and in California and Alaska within the United States.
About Antique Amber:
Amber is an ancient petrified pine tree resin. It is worn as jewelry and burned as incense by Tibetans and Native Americans for both social and sacred use. Amber diskette coins were also traded as currency by the Vikings.
