ABOUT DALMATIAN JASPER & BLACK ONYX

Mined deep within the Chihuahua region of Mexico, Dalmatian Jasper is affectionately dubbed the “Stone of Joy.” While historically marketed as a jasper due to its spotted appearance resembling a Dalmatian’s coat, it has been treasured as an igneous talisman that dispels cynicism and aligns the spirit.Geologically, this stone is an igneous perthite rock rather than a true microcrystalline quartz jasper. It features a cream-colored base of quartz and feldspar, dramatically speckled with distinct black spots of rare arfvedsonite and black tourmaline inclusions.
