Found exclusively in the Kennedy Ranges near Mooka Creek in Western Australia, this sacred stone takes its name from an Aboriginal word meaning “running waters,” long used by indigenous cultures as a powerful connection to Mother Earth. It is deeply valued for both its profound protective qualities and its ability to hold a beautiful, radiant polish.Geologically classified as Windalia Radiolarite, Mookaite is a colorful, sedimentary variety of Jasper formed predominantly by the fossilized, microscopic remains of ancient aquatic organisms called radiolaria.
