About Black Onyx
Black Onyx is a natural variety of Onyx, belonging to the cryptocrystalline quartz family. Unlike softer versions made from calcite, this form of Onyx is extremely durable. It often displays a bold black base contrasted with white upper layers, creating a visually striking appearance.
Mined primarily in the United States, Italy, and Mexico, Black Onyx is both beautiful and resilient.
