LABRADORITE AND AFRICAN TURQUOISE MALA PRAYER BEADS – MADE TO ORDER IN BOULDER, COLORADO
A meditation tool built to last as long as your practice. Most malas fall apart after a few weeks of daily use: threads fray, knots loosen, beads crack and tassels unravel. This one won’t. Every Labradorite and African Turquoise Mala is hand-strung with stainless steel bead cable or strong knotting cord in our Boulder studio, with each 8mm bead inspected for structural integrity before it’s ever used. No mass production. No shortcuts. Just a mala designed to hold up to thousands of repetitions, finished with a natural cotton tassel.WHY LABRADORITE?
Named after the region of Labrador, Canada, where it was famously identified in the late 18th century, this stone has long captivated cultures with its striking visual shifts. In Inuit lore, the stone is said to hold the Northern Lights within its crystalline structure, connecting it deeply to ancient folklore and northern spiritual traditions. Today, it remains highly valued across global traditions as a cornerstone for deep introspection and meditative practice.Labradorite belongs to the feldspar group, which makes up nearly 60% of the Earth’s crust. It is uniquely defined by labradorescence—a captivating optical phenomenon where the stone’s internal structures reflect light in mesmerizing flashes of blue, green, and gold.GEMSTONE PROPERTIES

I bought my Labradorite mala about a year ago. This second one is for my sister.
It is well made and we both love them
Thank you

Excellent customer service! I received a poorly strung mala (missing three beads)—mistakes happen. Rather than return the mala, I decided to keep the attractive beads for a future mala of my own design. I did however write a critical rating to point out the oversight. Much to my surprise, I received a call from Sakura (Dawn I believe) inquiring about my review. She offered to replace the mala which I had already disassembled. When I explained that the mala was now a bag of beads, she offered to send to me (free of any charge) a fresh strand of quality beads to compensate for the missing three. Very pleased!
