PEARL AND RUDRAKSHA MALA PRAYER BEADS – MADE TO ORDER IN BOULDER, COLORADO

A meditation tool built to last as long as your practice. Most malas fall apart after a few weeks of daily use: threads fray, knots loosen, beads crack and tassels unravel. This one won’t. Every Pearl and Rudraksha Mala is hand-strung with stainless steel bead cable or strong knotting cord in our Boulder studio, with each freshwater pearl, rudraksha bead, and amazonite marker inspected for structural integrity before it’s ever used. No mass production. No shortcuts. Just a mala designed to hold up to thousands of repetitions, finished with a natural cotton tassel.

Why Freshwater Pearl, Rudraksha, and Amazonite?

Freshwater pearls have been treasured for thousands of years in jewelry, ceremonial adornment, and sacred objects across many cultures. Rudraksha seeds hold a meaningful place in Hindu and yogic traditions, where they have long been used for mantra recitation and devotional practice. Amazonite has been valued as a decorative stone since ancient times and is often associated with calm blue-green color symbolism in modern gemstone traditions.Freshwater pearls form inside mollusks as layers of nacre build over time, creating their soft luster and natural “pearl essence.” Rudraksha beads are seeds traditionally sourced from the fruit of the Elaeocarpus ganitrus tree, known for their organic texture and natural ridges. Amazonite is a blue-green variety of microcline feldspar, often recognized for its soothing color range, subtle marbling, and natural variation from bead to bead.
