This is my first mala, so I am still learning how to use it. I find that I can accidentally touch two beads at a time, thereby messing up my whole mantra. Maybe I’ll get used to it so that won’t keep happening? Haven’t ever once ended the 3-phrase mantra at the right spot. Are all malas made with the same size beads? Larger would be easier… Other than that, I love this! It is beautiful to look at and I find that I leave it out rather than putting it in its bag just so I can see it. I got the jade.

I am extremely happy with my mala. The color is beautiful and rich, once i loosened the adjustable knot it wears very comfortable. The only question I have is the authenticity of the jade. Is this actual deep jade or jadite?

I love this mala and the colour but have a few issues with it. It arrived extremely tightly strung so it does not bend or wear very nicely. It also has wear marks at the top and bottoms of each bead where it is grinding on the next bead, likely due to how tight it is. So it is not very comfortable to wear as it pinches the next and does not lay very well. I love the colour of this one, but the wear marks where the beads are touching each other is grinding and chipping the colour off. :( So while I love this mala, this particular one I was sent is not so great.

These beads are not grinding, the holes “dust” are from when they were newly made, and when you can loosen and tighten it will be just fine. :)
